For the record, I am not a liberal, I am a socialist. Secondly, I am sure the British don't have their own wars that they fight. Thirdly, as Crete is of stratigic importance in the mediteranian, do you really belive the powers interested in us would give us much choice in regards to how they rule us? I don't think so. Also, the possible states that could form this 'Confedercy' are spread out and would be quickly taken over by other powers.

Regardless, the Federal Government has survived much worse than this, as the Civil War during my father's Presidency had much more supporters for the rebels. We still have many loyal Councillors, Deputies and Generals. We shall succeed.
