I understand your point, however Free Market Party does not give an indication of the Parties views on other issues which you stated as Republicanism, freedom and liberty. Free Democrats is a good name as well, but I will not press the point.

Attorney, Father Vaszary declared war on the rightful government of the Republic. And proceeded to prevent legitimate federal institutions from accomplishing their job. Indeed, the ministry wasn't harmed as it left Hungary, but the fact that there was resistance by Hungarian militia to Eckhel's reclaiming of Budapest and campaign into Hungary constitutes the necessary physical offense to High Treason; and quite frankly, had Vaszary managed to secure the Diet to his opinion, I have no doubt that I would have had much greater difficulty in leaving the state.
Regardless, he is culprit of treason and responsible for the death of many of his countrymen, and I have no doubt this will net him a well-earned death sentence.

My client never declared war on the Federation. I possess the manuscript for the Buda Castle speech, wherein Mr Vaszary states his belief that the Federation is not "worth fighting for", but never does he state that he shall fight against it. It is preposterous to blame this violence on Mr Vaszary, rather than Mr Eckhel, when it was the latter who ordered the military invasion of Hungary, while the former merely commanded the Hungarian State Militia to resist external aggression. What you suggest is tantamount to blaming the victim. By your words, Mr Vaszary did not maltreat any federal officers or assault the institutions. As such, the high treason accusation has no legal basis and must be dismissed.

Gentlemen, as the Treason Act has so far proven to be vague and ineffectual in the actual execution of justice, I propose the following:

The Celerity of Justice Act​

I. The Treason Act and all its provisions shall be repealed.
II. A new law on the definition and handling of Treason shall be passed within six months
