It seems odd, and I assume it might make me unpopular to some extent, but I'd love to take Herr Kraus on board as Minister of Finance, if possible. It'd show we're willing to compromise. As for Crete, it was, and last I heard hasn't been in danger of attack at all, so the obstinate sending of State Militias to the island is unneeded, along with the mad militarization of the Carniolan-Venetian border. I'd like to have all un-needed movements of State Militias halted, they're un-needed and downright stupid.

I'm afraid, Marshal, that the Venetian government cannot allow such a thing. The Venetian Guard, currently stationed within the Dogado, and those units still in the terrefirma are perfectly capable of handling any Ottoman threat; especially seeing as there is virtually no threat whatsoever to mainland Venice from our hated foe.

However Venice is an important port of the Federation. There is military necessity to make sure the city is secure so that the Federal fleets are not cut off in these troubled times. Any other idle speculation is unfortunate, but groundless.

I'm sorry guys but I posted a sheet a while back of all my duties (since I looked them up) and its some legit crap. you honestly think I'll just let you guys scrw me over after all I did for you!))

((It's the ministry of Finance, not the Treasury. And the Treasury is usually legally obligated to give the money to the other parts of the government, they're not the ones making the decisions.))
