Well if I cannot persuade you to form a coalition, so be it. I will not pressure you; however I must make my concern regarding Nikolic's (and indeed most of his party's) scorn of the Italian states clear. In barely concealed threats he attacks and insults Councillor Mocenigo, and his pary follow suit. While I do not believe Venezia would secede from the Federation, I worry about their reaction if they are continually provoked.

Dear signor Vertucci: Please calm down. I think I'm not only speaking for myself when I ask our Italian councillors to stop this useless feud. In this regard I don't see Herr Kraus having done anything wrong. But I am deeply disappointed that private telegrams between members of our Congress are revealed on the floor. Private conversations and deals are to be held private.
