The Welsh Jack Grealish (they/them)
- Jul 29, 2012
All citizens can vote. Not all citizens can run.
I apologise, signore, I must have misread the appropriate clause.
In any case, I wish to present the following addition to the Constitution:
The Eligibility and Restrictions Amendment
- No organ within State or Federal governments may impose conditions for membership other than that the prospective candidate be enfranchised as per the Constitution.
- Any organs found to be acting in violation of this clause shall be prorogued until such time that the establishment of a replacement organ operating within the bounds of this clause may occur.
~ Várpaloti, Dr. Iur.
((So when you confirmed that the resolution restricted voting based on wealth... ))
