Great AAR Sarge!
If I may say so, you probably employed the shrewdest strategies I've yet seen in any AAR. (It would be nice playing a multi-player game with or against you
)
Gamewise your report has sparked two new concerns:
1) I don't like Spain's incredible aggressiveness despite its lousy stability and morally beaten armies. It reminds me of earlier AARs where major powers were annihilated due to their unreasoning aggressiveness.
2) What happens to the Dutch revolt if Spain doesn't hold their provinces in the late 16th century? France, England or a German principality could just as well occupy the Netherlands by then... IMO, the revolt would not be as likely under those circumstances.
