A Dev diary Poem

Am I the only one worried that with all this postponing expectations have been build up to an extent that producing a statisfactory dev diary will be near impossible? I mean I'm already expecting a dev diary amounting to we improved this ui screen diary over so anything will impress me but I feel expectations have been build up by others.

They didn't really postpone anything. All they said in the last DD was that they would resume IN April...there are still 3 more Wednesdays to go.

I meant back when they said it would be postponed to april.
They basically said they didn't want to write useless dev diaries for a whole month and instead actually focus on their work and then produce actually useful dev diaries, but the issue is when you say that people then start expecting dev diaries of a certain standard, and that standard will over the waiting time only raise.
Its the same issues anything has once you announce it and then let the community hype about with no control, expectations that are impossible to meet.

Except I haven't really seen much speculation or self generated hype regarding what ever it is they are going to do.

I perceive the forum atmosphere as more of a mix of resigned/stoical waiting, some hope and some frustration. But maybe that's the influence of my ignore list at work
