So today at work I started to conceive a Christmas themed challenge for CK2 and am calling out to the Community to contribute ideas on how best to accomplish this. As i see it a Christmas challenge should focus on the holy lands and especially the Pentarchy (as either Orthodox or Miaphsyite). It shouldn't be anything as basic as useing the Byzantine empire as either the nation of choice or as an ally. One interesting self imposed rule I have thought up is Christmas peace, Only on christmas would you be allowed to accept, enforce, or request peace. So if you're at war with the fatimids and they offer you a peace that expires on December 24th then you're out of lucky. Be prepared for another year of war.
So what do you all think? what kind of limits should a christmas challenge have?
Post Edit: one possibility that i've just discovered thanks to wikipedia would be to start as a count in Lykia in 1066. The birth place of the historic saint Nicholas
