I've played this game only a few days, but quite intensely. It is great, and I would say that there really aren't any issues overall.

There are some improvements that I think can be made though:
1. The ability to set production sliders directly to need, instead of having to click several times to get the right value.

2. Soviet belligerence does not correspond to history. Soviet was viewed as an expansionist threat, just that it was overshadowed by Germany. The latter fact does not justify a belligerence of only 15 for the Soviet Union (which was what they had in my latest game).

3. The ability to research technologies that increase the chances of performing succesful operations with spies. Such as smear campaign.

4. I don't know if it's my computer or the game, but I think that the "Extremely Fast" option is too slow. Sometimes you just want to skip several months if you're playing as a minor country, and it's really tedious when you have to wait through these months, doing nothing.

5. There should be an ingame description of parameters and abbreviations, such as IntOp ChanceThem +15%. There are a lot of such terms, and it would be easier if there was an explanation to them.

That's all from me, hope to get some constructive response. ;)

for the first one there is a solution: the game itself has an option to set the sliders automatically and you can also control what is more important for you...

supplies
upgrades
reinforcements

look under the production sliders, there´s a button which leads you to that options

for the other things i can´t help you

But one might want to constantly supervise production sliders, like me, and still set the sliders to need instantly to ease such manual management.

And I'm not looking for help, but rather want to give suggestions for a better game.

1) Indeed, it's a returning question and I wholeheartedly agree.
2) Well, belligerence is more of a game mechanic than a representation of real life. It's there to prevent human players from being too expansionist without repercussions.
3) see 5)
4) Getting a faster computer significantly increases performance. On my old pc I could never get speed to exceed "fast" (well, I could set it higher but that didn't have any effect), now I can effectively race through the pre-war years. It also depends on preference, a lot of people seem to play lightning fast in between pauses.
5) see 3)

1. Good to hear that I'm not the only one, and sorry for dragging up an old topic (unintentionally).

2. Ok. I don't really see the benefits of that, since it just limits the possibilities and doesn't correspond to reality.

3. See 5.

4. I understand. I also noted now that Extremely Fast is really fast in the beginning, but as the game advances and gets more complex it slows down.

5. What do you mean? ;)
