so some ppl here suggest that we should reload after a while so the ai wakes
can u specify a period after which the ai "sleeps?"
and a small remark
i just finished a gc in 1.04 as spain with only 2 ctd

Some people suggest reloading every ten years, but it probably depends on what speed you play at.
If you find the AI is not doing much then reload.

Not sure how long it takes the AI to "go to sleep"...but...Reload every 10 years...and you won't have that problem...

You don't need to quit, just load your saved game within the game.

That works, at least for me.

Yes. You will see a rash of DoWs, military access, etc.

Remember that in 1.04, the game will quit if you attempt to load a save from within the game.
Also, is the AI sleep period a programmed feature, or is it just a tendency on the AI's part??

If it exists - still not 100% proved - it is a bug. If anyone can reproduce it reliably or show it in a saved game somehow ...

I haven't had the AI sleeping problem, at least not in 1.04. Has anyone still been seeing this with 1.04?

yup... I do it more to get an optimal game... the game seems more fun with more action to me, but I still find that if i play for 40 or more years... things slow down to where there is nothing happening.
