A CK2 dream I had

OK, so I kinda wish I had jotted this down earlier, some of the details have became rather hazy, but anyways-not only did I dream last weekend that China was in the game proper, but in fact so was...well, everywhere. Except not quite, because the land borders were rather hazy and distorted.

One thing in particular I remember was the United State, which circa 1400s apparantly comprised of the pacific northwest, Idaho, western montana and a bit of nearby canada to the north. Except for vancouver island apparantly not existing, and NA kinda looking like the gall-peters version (I think?).

Anyway, I wanna know if other people have these weird dreams too? There must be far more fucked up stuff with a game like this. : S

If Paradox was ever purchased by EA I would legitimately throw a fit. That publisher has no business dealing with complex games like this. They can't even be bothered to get their teams to patch issues in main games series that they have. Don't fuel our nightmares like this!

FWIW last week I downloaded a fun little game called Steam and Iron.It has top of the range 1990s graphics and weighs in at just 43 megabytes and yet STILL has found a way to have a full 3D global projection on its map.

Say again why we are stuck with a warped 2D projection on CK2?

Well , rather mundane , simple , and short ---

But the other night I had a little dream where a garden party was going on , sunny , a little hot , but not too bad. On a broad , really nice lawn. A joust was taking place in the background.

The women were primarily in long dresses in pastel colors and fancy embroidery , with those long conical hats they wore in the 13th century I think ?

( like the KKK headgear , only without the mask , and fancier and prettier. )

Servants were in various heraldic livery. And the men were in plate armor , though without helmets at the party of course , only in the jousting in the background.

I suppose I particularly remember it because the American actor Gregory Peck was there , in plate armor. I think he is dead now , but he was young , maybe around 35 , in my dream. In the dream though , it seemed like nothing particularly special ; " Oh , there's Gregory Peck . Hoo humm. "

In the game one of my consuming pastimes is in handing out gifts , trying to share out titles , playing match -maker , trying to be as merciful and equitable as possible. Ideal Feudalism ; Everybody is somebodies vassal , a matrix of obligation and patronage.

And in the dream , as I wandered about this scene , that was likewise very much on my mind. I was pre -occupied . Gregory Peck was just one of many Barons about whom I wondered , " I hope he is happy. "

And that was basically it.

Obviously I had CK 2 on the brain while I slept.
