While this is a suggestion for 1.08 instead of a DLC, i would really like to see cultural variations of the generic buildings, allowing for more natural armies instead of the same everything except the damage/defence. For example, give Frankish stables and barracks giving more heavy units and less light light units, while Arabic ones would give tons of light units, but very few heavy units, and Italian barracks`s providing almost only pikemen, etc...

dynasty +, with feuds between houses, branches of the family wantign to usurp control over it, and most importantly: control over the marriage of you direct relatives!

Thats what i had in mind reading this thread :), as CK2 is focused on politics and dynasties i think it should have long been done, I mean dynasty heads, their power over other members, like suggesting a marriage of your brother's son and some neighboring king's daughter with relative influence power depending on your authority and relationships, there many more ideas about dynasties, dynastic hostility is another great(and quite realistic IMHO) feature...

The HRE and the ERE both claim succession to the Roman Empire, so they should both be able to form it through a competition: Imperial Authority.
Imperial Authority would function similarly to Moral Authority: both empires would start out at 50% Imperial Authority and certain actions would raise or lower it, and certain circumstances would give it a per-month increase or decrease. However, the Imperial Authority of both empires would be tied to the other. An increase in the IA of one would lead to a decrease in the IA of the other and vice versa, so that both Empire's IA would add up to exactly 50%.

When one Empire reaches 100% IA they would receive the decision to form the Roman Empire.
The Empire that reaches 0% IA would dissolve and its de jure territory would become de jure part of the Empire that reached 100% IA (not de jure Roman Empire since I believe it's a titular title, but de jure whatever Empire formed the Roman Empire). Its vassals would have to vote on either accepting the new Roman Emperor as liege or remaining independent.

What is fishy about this proposal to me is that you say that in case the ERE succeeds with this somehow all of the HRE becomes the jure Roman (and vice versa). East Francia controlled roughly the same area as the HRE well before their ruler was crowned Emperor. Taking away their Empire-tier title will result in at least Bohemia (maybe Frisia, Pomerania) becoming independent.
And making all of the HRE de jure part of the Roman Empire is just ... wrong. Much of this land was never controlled by Romans.

I'd rather have Francia and the HRE able to reform the Carolingian Empire if one conquers the other.

alongside with dynasty improvement, i'd very much like to see implementation of fear in the game, for example if I'm executing people after rebellion, let me be considered tyrant, but this also means that i have the power to punish disobedient people under me and they should fear me, thus obeying my requests and orders more willingly, also it might affect invitation of courtiers, as they'll be less willing to live under some wrathful , coldblooded ruler. There are lot's of realistic things one can come up with, while thinking about this.

Romance of the 3 kingdoms type expansion for china india and asia. Expand CK2 to the whole world.

You could really make the faction system in EU3 Ming dynasty work rather than the restrictive crap divine wind was.

I also wouldn't mind an expansion that somehow made it possible to navigate the arabian seas. :) Not DLC per se, so sorry if I'm a little off-topic.

it probably deserves a whole separate game like sengoku. it is too big for a DLC IMHO
