Here is my general game plan for USA:
Early years, expand the industry, mainly with more civilian factories because the economy law USA start with make civilian factories significant cheaper but make military factories more expensive. Dockyards are also built early because they don't seem to count against your consumer goods need and they can be built from the start without penalty. Civilian factories can later on be converted into military factories then better laws can be applied.
A powerful navy will be a huge deal so I will may have a target of atleast 150 dockyards.
To keep my nation productive I will try to work with as low conscription law as possible as the penalties to production you get from these are huge.
USA do have a large population so I may have pretty good amount of manpower even with productivity focus. My divisions will be expensive to field but I think they will be unmatched in terms of firepower. All my serious divisions will have some sort of artillery, anti tank and anti air guns.
I will naturally build up a very large air force.
I will use superior fire power doctrine for my army. For my navy I will use base strike and for my air force I will use strategic destruction.
Here is what a large division could look like:
Frontline:
- 10 Infantry battalions
- 10 artillery battalions
- 3 anti tank battalions
- 2 anti air battalions
Support:
- Medic
- Recon
- Engineer
- Logistic
- Signal or maintenance
