A bug fix patch please before Art of War

I am really looking forward to Art of War expansion but I wanted PDS to please release a bug fix patch before Art of War and not along with it. There are a huge number of small issues and bugs which have already been acknowledged on the bug sub forums. Some have even been fixed in internal builds as per the updates there. Would really like PDS to release a bug fix patch before Art of War just to release those fixes to the consumers. There will be lot of other changes in Art of War which might introduce new issues or some balance changes which some people might not like. So wouldn't it be better to have a release on which people can fall back upon which has all the fixes up till now? Thanks.

the people working on AoW aren't the same for patching. 2 different groups are working on it. they'll release patches, like they ever did. If it takes long enough for AoW to be "done", you'll may see even more than 1 patch.

You come to a thread asking for a bug fix patch and so give it a special icon which, combined with the catchy title, will ensure that a huge number of people read this thread and then you don't answer the OP's request.

Is there any chance of a bug fix patch before Art of War? As has been said here, it is probably inevitable that the update will introduce new bugs and it would be great if the community had had time to test the fixed to the old bugs before the new ones appear.

A diplomatic answer it is. I think he mainly does that because a) he can't be bothered giving long answers b) he doesn't want to make any promises.
