Great job so far! Keep it up!

Thank you :) I can assure you that the stupidity and incompetence shall continue into the next update.

Great settlement with France, can you post an overview map showing the border changes in Germany and the Low Countries? A satellite Portugal could be an effective way of securing some dominance points - they are clearly weakened by Spain so once those two agree a peace it could be the time to attack.

I'll post an updated map tonight. Spain has pretty much wiped Portugal off the map with the recent treaty. Taking what is left is a definite plan but with only 2 field armies, one in the Med and one protecting the northern empire against all comers, it's one for down the line.

A Comedy of Errors Aug Sep Oct Nov 1809

As expected Denmark joins Algeria's coalition.

In war and the subsequent peace Russia takes Warchau from the Prussians plus Danzig for good measure.

Prussia request military access from us, this is granted and Prussia becomes one of the few remaining nations to see us in a positive light! Plus if they get too frisky they have about 25,000 men total , they wouldn't last long in the war.

Sweden makes peace with Denmark and asks that we honour our guarantee.

We only have 2 field armies at the moment Wellesley in Denmark and Moore in the Med. Other than garrisons the only other forces we have are the troops at Gibraltar and on Malta.

The British European Empire
rtw9_zpsd089be3d.jpg

Our final figures.
rtw10_zps9f9a8b99.jpg

Since we started we have made a net gain of 14 transports and 46 warships.

Had we to actually build all these ships it would have cost us 6840, not a bad saving.

With war settlements, blockades, port duties and satellite payments, money has never been an issue.

Manpower has been our greatest limiting factor, how much more could have been taken with more troops?

In six years of war only 1 ship was lost to enemy action, a transport. And assuming I've not missed any there were only actually 2 naval battles lost.

Thanks for reading.

Congratulations on finishing. This has been a very enjoyable AAR, the decision not to build any ships added an element of suspense at the start, although in the end it proved to be no issue.

That is an excellent result given the lack of British manpower, and just shows what can be achieved by carefully choosing your battles and making the most of allies and satellites. Great stuff!

Do you have plans for a new campaign?

You could always wait a few days for EU IV ;) such an exciting time! EEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!
