Yesterday I finished the Battletech Campaign and I feel the need to put a big THANK YOU out, to everyone involved in making this game.

When the original Kickstarter Campaign went online, I was very excited but also uncertain, whether the game would be good and true to its origins. But you guys did it. Bravo! I only regret not being able to back the game earlier.

Throughout the game I could almost see the design process. Throwing/changing out game mechanics, that didn't work and adding stuff that totally makes sense all those years after the tabletop had its peak.
The whole art design is amazing. The story was fun to follow and had some interesting turns and twists. But most of all, likable and relate able characters.
Partnering up with Paradox was one of the best moves, though. I can't say that I would have agreed to any publisher, but this was a match made in heaven!

Beyond all this, you managed to reignite the spark for Battletech in so many people. Just last week my old BT group started talking about doing a small convention in our city, after 10 years of absence! So in a way you did more for the BT universe and fandom, than anyone else in the last years.

Thank you

My sentiments exactly.
I doubt HBS needs any backers for a sequel, but if they do, I'm certainly in next time.
Intro and Soundtrack are already worth the buy.
I really like the artwork and presentation, which I did already like in the SR games and it was probably a wise decision to "stick to your roots" in this game.

It's been a long and dry road for the thirsty and age-ridden BT-community, so keep them comin' ;)

HBS did a great job with the game!

There isn't many other games out there that I have poured this much time into (about 165 hrs). They made a fun and addiction BattleTech game.

A big thank you from me too specifically for the added campaign story part of the Taurian Commander who went AWOL grief stricken.
Such decisions and consequences in the campaign really make you start thinking. Well done.
Too bad not destroying that fuel depot is not an option at all. :/

I couldn´t back the kickstarter but there are some yet unfufilled promises (i think) like the Black Widow showing up on the campaign. It seems the game has been a success on sales so there´s still time for all those cameos to happen.

I would definetly get campaign dlc´s like I have with Crusader Kings (which feels like a massive influence) so I hope it expands character interaction drawing from it along a longer story for the mercenary company. Who knows, the Snord family may be out there... ;)

Same boat. I actually love how the old mechs look impressive. The Atlas is finally a scary monster, exactly as Kerenski intended.
