First game of the reaper's due I last a grand total of 9 years with a custom character even with a hospital and a good physician, gg. Looking forward to the new challenge however I hope it does not become a constant annoyance having to seclude myself every 2 seconds etc. Will start my second game shortly.

Yeah I think I maybe got a rare strain? I got the great pox in the end. Had consumption, camp fever and smallpox through my realm. All the diseases seemed to attack Southern England where I was, not sure if the game targets the player?

No i dont think so, it seems like it sometimes. My main adult character died of lack of food, so i opened the gates, while the plague was still around. At that moment i thought it did target the player since i got a couple food store events. After that my main 7 year ruler got the plague along with most of the court. Thanks to the court phycisian i got better but he died..
So either you starve or get the plague
