Many compliments for this beta, is very stable and fun to play :)

But (in 1066 scenario) there are very few north Italian counties playable: I must start always with Ancona (the best) or start with a Duchy :(

I realize the historical reason of this choice, but the fun of play suffer a bit...

Unfortunately we can't go replacing historical rulers with ahistorical ones for small gains in gameplay, so you will need to do some modding to replace some bishop or republic with a county.

uhm... ok.

It sound like the very first relase of EU1, when we must mod the file that cointains playable nations

Ok, for now I'll play with Ancona... now Duchy of Galilea, Palestine and Sicily :)

I must say the duchy of Milan is a very fun ride in 1066. Duchy of Tuscany would be ok... just play with anybody else until one son inherits, save and start playing with them.

Yes... this is a solution, but not so linear; My fun with play is to bring not so famous lineage to the kingdom... my old favorite was the hunchback Concini from Siena (my loved Concini family... Kings of Cuman and Jerusalem :( )... now is a Bishop!
