It seems that at the 769 AD start date, King Cynewulf of Wessex incorrectly starts out as an prince-archbishop rather than a monarch; making the character unplayable. I've also noted that sometimes King Aethelred of Wessex in the later "Old Gods" start date is sometimes and sometimes not shown as a king; seemingly suffering a more irregular case as his 769 counterpart.
