I understand this, I just don't think we are going to see eye-to-eye on this issue. I know that the Slavs were much closer to each other than any of the other groups culturally and linguistically. Would any HIP dev like to weigh in on this? Am I wrong?
My idea was to make the big slavic culture group break up in 900 when slavs got divided by setteling hungarians. Also in 900 the three new slavic cultures should break up into hip vanilla ones (except bosnian which should be divided). I think thats the best deal for history, gameplay and accuracyDo you mean collapsing the East, South and West Slavic culture groups from HIP into one? No, i defintely wouldn't recommend that, it would result in very undesirable in-game behaviour where people from Novgorod would see absolutely no problem with someone from Ohrid ruling over them
I think thats because the bolohoveni romanians are believed to be tengrists.Bacau should be orthodox
So why is bach avar again?
And why are there bulgarian provinces?
People think they were pagans but slavic pagans not tengri since tengriism is kinda a steppe people religion.I think thats because the bolohoveni romanians are believed to be tengrists.
And Barlad is indeed a hard question im unable to answer.
Ok then I'll wait for you to get there. Those counties haven't been touched. I will make them Orthodox when I do those areas.
Yes.Should the aromanians of niš/naissus be cristian? What do you guys think?
You are right i just looked it up the were indeed slavic pagans speaking romanian.People think they were pagans but slavic pagans not tengri since tengriism is kinda a steppe people religion.
Bacs keeps switching to Avar because the game is generating an Avar nomadic chief to control that province. When it does the province swaps to Avar. Does anyone a) know how to stop the game from generating that character and b) know how to set a character's primary settlement?
Were the Avars Tengri?
If i remember correctly it is related to holding too much land as a Nomad liege. I'm pretty sure it will auto-generate clans for you.
ETA: I'm not sure though. It's been a while since i last dealt with the Nomads. I'll inquire with Ese for you, he's done work on the steppes regularly, so he'll be of more help to you.
This looks way too ambitious to be true.
Are you planning to correctly include all the cultural melting pots? If so what are they?
