Indeed. I figured PI will tweak the damnable "Ruler Designer", eventually, to something more useful and awesome. And I simply couldn't deal with not having them [DLC] all.
The ruler designer's great, provided you modify the costs of everything a bit. It might just be me, but painting the map in the name of my dynasty rather than a historical one is well worth it. I don't think I've played as a historical dynasty since I bought the DLC.
They are obviously doing this so they can cash in on the new customers for the Sword of Islam DLC

Anyways, I am happy about it as I have also had the opportunity to get another discount for EU3. I don't regret having preordered CK2 at all. AT ALL

So is it worth it? I've seen Crusader Kings mentioned a couple times but I pretty much know nothing about it. I'm a huge fan of EUIII and enjoyed Victoria 2 a lot so how does Crusader Kings compare to those two?

I bought CK 2 in 75% steam action - Whole pack (12,49 EUR), but my DLC´s arent working. In steam client, I can see, that I have all of them as a part of game. When I am starting it, I have all DLCs turned on. When I am in the game none of them is active. I cant even create my ruler.

IIBlitzIILoki, just to be sure, do you know how the DLCs work? For example to test the Ruler Designer you'd click the button beneath the portrait of the character you've selected to play as. If the button is grayed-out then the DLC isn't active for some reason, but if you click it and a box pops up with information you can edit then it is working fine.
Sorry if you've already done this but it's an easy thing to miss because it's the only part of the DLC that you manually use -- the other stuff is music and graphics which you may not otherwise be able to tell you've got.

Time solved my problem. I did everything right first time, but still I had that banner "Buy new DLC - Character editor" ... I started game now with no changes and banner is gone and I can finally edit characters. Sorry for your Time Sleight of Hand.
I really had to buy this game in such a great action. I think its a cool game, but full price 50 (earlier) or 40 Euro´s are too much for "desk game". I dont know how much costs creating such a game, but I am sure its not same money as for Battlefield 3 :laugh:.
