It would have less range then the piat and woooooorse AP. Its already on 1 of the carriers in the game iirc, so you can see the "vehicle borne" stats. If it was used as an anti infantry weapon, it would be interesting though,

The effective range was 300 yards, so about the same as a piat, for light vehicles. It could take out light tanks, up to a panzer 3 at 100 yards. Of course, if it was firing from the rear or side, the armour was weaker, so they could explode fuel tanks etc. They made a tungsten round for it later in the war, which could effectively knock out the tracks of enemy vehicles.

Of course, it was used as traditional sniper rifle too...

Think it could be a really interesting tool for infiltrations behind enemy lines, as a recon unit. Risk and reward unit... gonna sneak it up close to a vehicle and try to take it out? Gonna use it behind your main line to take inf out relatively safely? Gonna infiltrate enemy back line, take out pwerfers etc.

Now that we have at least some ATG in the deck, although I would myself preferred a more cheaper and numerous guns rather than a couple of vetted ones, there are still unresolved issues at hand that won't allow this deck to become a considerable adversary. And one of the biggest issues is, of course, infantry. Entire line up is strictly specialized on a close combat at <100m, it's a very situational kind of infantry and even in the cities and woods you very often need to do something at a longer distances. And with Bren being the launching stock of the LMGs you're in a very tough spot. I can understand that this probably was the intended 'flavour' of the division, but what I can't deal with is the incredibly reduced quantities.

First of all, two missing slots are extremely damaging to the division's capabilities. And I see absolutely no reasons why this particular Airborne division has to have less infantry slots than the other Airborne divisions, especially when it's not as versatile.
Second, when the phase B hits you're royally fucked infantry-wise. At this moment Airlanding is probably the most useless infantry unit to be deployed on B. You're usually set to face hordes of pioneers (equipped with two nades) and what you field is a puny, incomplete squad which dies from mere one.

P.S. Tetrachs are still garbage.

this could be easily fixed by just moving two slots from tanks to infantry. I seriously doubt that anyone ever uses all 5 tank slots in this deck.
However, this only makes sense if airlanding are made worth bringing in. Right now they just aren't.

p.s. give vet to tetrarchs. make them actually hit something

I hit a Flammpz B2(f) twice with a triple-star PIAT team last night.

First shot was even a side shot.

The PIAT team still died and the Flammpz just did more Flammpz things while the rest of the infantry got burned to a crisp outside of gammon bomb range.

At least I can poop easily today. That should be the motto of this division. "6th Airborne, the final solution to constipation"

Actually its my fav. division. the Mosquito is the best attack bomber in game with the abillity to be really usefull after it droped the bombs. the ab bran troubs can hold every fight over 400 m quite well and ab paras are awesome close combat fighters. the arty tap with the 2 star mortarts and arty is awsome till the end and if you use the 14 ap tetrach in combination wit hthe comand tetrach you can actually kill tanks with them. also the support tetrach is one of the most cost effeciant support units ingame. sure airlanding isnt that cool. but with the nice ap guns and the best tank tap of all airborne divisions + really strong scouts thats totally fine. Since I manly play 2v2 and combine them with the 101 or the panzerna of my friend we get the aircontroll most of the time and than the game stops to be fun for your enemy. Also your phase a units are all really cheap for what they do. so even in 1v1 i dont have a problem to hold the hole front line. It just gets hard near the end of the game when you might run out of inf squads but even than recon squads can at leas thodl the line quite well.
