5 Research opportunities suddenly became 4 after clicking ok at end of researching.

AOD patched to 1.4, then Iron Cross installed over this.

Bought and playing for the first time today. I Like It!
Playing on Win7 (64), no problems so far with game.

Started at Germany, playing from 1933. Got to October 1933. I had 5 opportunities to research, but after researching Int./Fighter Prototype and clicking OK, when I opened up the Research screen, I only had 4 opportunities to Research. I couldn't get the 5th research opportunity back again.

I can send you the save game at the beginning of October. If you let the game run, you may see the bug happen? What is the best way to do this please?

Anything I can do to get around this ? Thanks

What is your base IC? Maybe for any reason (revolt risk, peace time modifier ...) your Industrial Capacity is lowered, so as soon as the tech investigation is finished, you loose the Tech slot.

I didn't realise I could lose a tech slot ... I haven't played HOI2 much before now... Is this the reason?

Yes, you loose slots if the IC drops and gain slots if you raise your IC

When playing AOD, I'd many more research slots. Playing Iron Cross, I had only 5. I didn't realise I could lose them or gain more... Thanks for clearing that up for me.
