I realise this, but obviously there was some benefit to Paradox to go with Fileplanet.There are a lot of things popular that shouldn't be. Fileplanet used to install spyware on your PC with it manager. I'm not sure if they still do it but, fool me once...

PI, Blizzards, Relic and pretty much every other company that creates games works together with fileplanet ... just because you think the site is "questionable" doesnt make it so ...
demos are meant to attract new customers, not to satisfy pre-ordered people.

Probably because they get a percentage of the revenue. Doesn't make it right at all.
