The bandwith problem can be solved by something we're not allowed to talk about. But I've seen other demo's on Steam so it should be possible.
first and foremost "because"...paradox really dont need to justify themselves just because a couple of people have a problem downloading from fileplanet.
second, fileplanet is a huge platform which a lot of servers worldwide and also the neccesary ammount of bandwith to handle a massive increase in downloads on a given date...fact is, paradox sites arent exactly known for their stability

Yes but steam is worse then fileplanet, because you HAVE to install a shitty program to download the demo.
