Well, here we all are waiting for it to be released first on one site. Some of us even have Fileplanet subscriber accounts and maybe some of us are even going to get one today.yeah, fileplanet probably PAYS publishers to host files that are free to download from a ton of other sites ... that really makes sense...
There are also a ton of ads to bring in revenue so.. yes, yes it does make sense.

Could be something else. But I'm not downloading from fileplanet. I'd rather wait a few hours and download it from a reputable website. I'm just warning you people, if that download manager turns out to be spreading adware and spyware you know you've atleast been warned.

ive had terrible experience with gamershell ... downloading from that site makes me feel like im on a 56k line
Why it is on file planet is not something I know the answer too. However it is and I can't see us changing that now, so all these posts expressing your displeasure at the site in question are not going to get you anywhere. No matter which site we pick someone, somewhere is not going to like it for a whole number of reasons. So all in all there is no further point jamming up this thread with these posts.

It does if you price your advertising space on your site by the amount of traffic you recieve, more files means more hits means higher prices you can charge people who want to advertise
It's an annoying program to me simply by virtue of needing to have it installed - but it isn't Skynet.
seriously, thats paranoia, ive been using the fileplanet download manager for a couple of years and never had any adware ... but hey, next your gonna tell me is that kaspersky and adaware are probably conspiring with them to infest every gamer pc in the world with spyware...

when you get a chance you should look at the HoI3 credit list.
Because probably they don't have the bandwidth @ paradoxplaza.com, and steam and GG are not their site.
Several possible and even logical reasons have already been brought up in this very thread. Bugging King about it when he just said to give it a rest really isn't going to get you very far.
