4K resolution ?

Hello there guys / devs ... i finally got my new PC and i tried to play Paradox's newest games (HOI IV / STELLARIS) in 4K resolution ... the result is ok but i noticed i cant go over 29 in refresh rate so the games are not smooth like 60 in 1920 x 1080 ... am i doing something wrong or this is the default refresh rate .... sorry if this has been answered in another post ...

haven't actually tried it, but I don't think any of the current game engine iterations are optimized for UHD

ahh i see ... cause i have touched the UI scaling which is the default one ? (1.0 ?)
