germanpeon - Worse still - a cliffhanger that keeps you hanging for a few days.

o
Lord E - You might think it's time for Burgundy...and it is. But that may not be where I am going just yet.
J. Passepartout - Yes, that was quite an accomplishment. Now if I can get Central America taken care of, I can start working on the Protestants.
stnylan - Heh. You know, I did not even notice that. I hired him just as a stop-gap until someone better came along. Good thing they did in quite time.
Director - Quite. One and then the other. But never at the same time...for now.
WhisperingDeath - I wish I could give you those screenies. I'll have to check and see if any are available from the ones I took. My techs are generally equal or better in Land and Govt., catching up Prod-wise and behind in Trade and naval.
Chief Ragusa - That's good advice all around. Some of which I take, and some of which...well, you'll see.
Wenis - Alsace is my vassal, released after I inherited Austria. And yes, I do plan to make the map a little "purtier" when I get the chance.
Corbett - Indeed, the west will now feel the steel that the Turk has felt these long years.
zytrexx - Now why would I need to do that? Lithuania loves me, and I them.
Storey - It did indeed take a while to wear the Turks down. In truth, I would think that realistically I should be able to push them past Const. and then make peace where I take the city and leave them to do whatever they want in Anatolia. But the game doesn't work that way. And what is worse, I cannot release the Ottomans without giving them Thrace. Looks like I need to start converting the Muslims.
As for Taiwan - well, the other three of me thought about it, but we all got caught up in the great game of "If Crimea revolts in a game no one is playing, are they really revolting?" A.) the answer is "yes" and 2.) You got it - just not enough time on my plate during the game to do all of that. And the 18th century is just as hectic.
To all - It looks like it is going to be tomorrow before I can get another update up. Thanks for reading and commenting everyone!
