Fb-fb:
Director - Well, I didn't mean to. I mean...it was just sitting on the counter and the next thing I knew, it was in my mouth. I feel a bit like Homer Simpson at this point. I can't help that the cake gets eaten.

As for becoming more Austrian, I don't seem to be picking them up as accepted cultures (or anyone else for that matter after I got Hannovarian - is there something that effects this?) As for France...all in good time, sir...all in good time.
Lord E - And I would say the same to you. I need to get that BB down and build up my forces. I'll just say that at one point in the decade that follows the previous update, France had something like 20,000 inf, 12,000 cav and 2,000 art. sitting in those Germanic lands of Koln and Pal. Needless to say, I've had to build up.
Petros - Well, thanks for finding it entertaining.

Rep and inflation are definitely the two things I need to keep focus on. But of course, there are always some unforeseen forces that come into play.
Wenis - That is one of my questions. Do I still go for Germany at this point? I'm not sure that the plusses outweigh what I am already getting right now. Real good question. I have all the needed provinces but the MTTH is still about 40 yrs away from expiring.
Chief Ragusa - Yeah, I think France will be real surprised when I show up in the Americas with the forces I have. Problem is - I need them in Europe too. As for hyper-teching, I am keeping good pace, and currently above France still in land. I don't expect to fight them at sea too much. I am actually more concerned with their trade and prod efficiency. They have bumped ahead of me and I don't like it one bit.
stnylan - If I choose it, that is. It's already that very thing already - just requires the name.
Eber - See above for France. Still waiting for the right chance.
WhisperingDeath - Good advice, at least in that this was exactly what I have done for the following years. It gives nothing away as I've been saying pretty much the same thing. By the way, you asked some time ago about my colonies and what I was getting from them. I took this screenie to give you an idea:
As I look at it, I think it is better than I thought, but still. You tell me what it means.
Renss - I have definitely decided that I won't be going Prot. I have stemmed the tide in Germany and France is getting more and more of the "new religion." It could actually turn out to be more of a religious war rather than territorial. As for trade - I keep trying to dabble, but I don't have but 5 at a time to use. I'll send two and by the time I have four ready to go again, both (or the one that stuck) is already gone. Trade sucks in this game.

That's it and that is all. Unless you focus entirely on it, it really is just an afterthought. Which is too bad.
And I had one other screenie for the general readership which might be able to help me solve an issue. I am usually a high centralization kind of player, but there are some negatives to go along with the positives in this game. Here is my slider:
Is it worth it? Seems like I'd lose on research just to gain on efficiency of Prod. Any ideas about this? I'd appreciate the input. (EDIT - now that I think on it, the screenie actually gives what I have right now. Add a plus one to each of those for one more click towards Cent.)
Thanks to all for reading and commenting. Look for another update tomorrow. I've played through 1611 and should get another 10 or so years in tomorrow. Things are still looking good though I did have one neighbor who thought they might try and challenge. The correct guess gets you a coz puddin' pop.
