I always find it strange that 40$ is considered a lot for people, or even 80$. I have plenty of AAA games, that I have played far less, that costed around 80$ standalone.
Keep in mind the average price of an average big-budget game in Australia is ~80-90 AUD and don't make an arse of yourself.Well gee, you must be Mr Moneybags. Poor you, having to listen to all these people who cant afford all the stuff that you can. It must be unbearable.

For multiplayer, all players are treated as having all of the DLC (or at least all of the non-cosmetic DLC) that the host does, so if the host has SoI, LoR, TR, TOG, and SI, then everyone who joins also gets the benefit of all of those, even if they only own the base game.In the US games start ~$50, and usually drop to $10-20 after a year or two. $40 is quite a bit for CKII considering it's age *and* that you don't even get something like retinues (only included in the DLC for another $5). I'm reluctant to recommend it to people to play multiplayer since so much of the good stuff is locked behind DLCs.
Being a EU player since 2000, the CK series has always been a mystery to me. I have watched people playing it on Youtube without understanding at all what they were doing.
Lately, I have been watching Arumba's CK2 tutorial on Youtube and I think I'm getting it. I'm now interested to try it out.
The only thing that's holding me back is... the price. I mean $40 for vanilla CK2 and $80 for the complete pack? This can't be right. CK2 was released more than two years ago...
Are people really paying that much to get into CK2?

Oh wow, I didn't know Humble Bundle, but $6.50 buck for Vanilla seems fair to me!
Didn't buy any expansion right now though. They are selling a DLC collection for $25, but it does not seem to include all the expansions, only the first four (Sword of Islam, Legacy of Rome, Sunset Invasion and The Republic) and some other visual DLCs.
Is it worth it? Here is the link: https://www.humblebundle.com/store
It's like on the sixth row.
