4/1 beta, error when trying to install beta

I am trying to install the beta but not sure I did everything right. I get the error above when double clicking the ck_104beta_april1/Crusader kings exe after unpacking it. This is my first time downloading/installing a beta for CK.

I have the downloaded version of crusader kings from paradox on demand.

To be honest, I'm not sure enough about the way the Paradox On Demand system works to know whether you will be able to play with the beta patches. Normally you would need all of the files to be installed locally on your system (first from the original CD, then patched to 1.04a, then patched with the beta) but with this new system I suspect that there are some critical files that are not included in your version and are loaded into memory when you do your on-line login confirmation when you play. The trouble is that this is probably governed by the exe file itself, and the exe that Johan or I include in the beta patch is not compatible with your installation.

I would suggest that you contact the Paradox On Demand support center and see if they can help you. I have my fears that you may be forced to wait until the official patch is released -- something that is still some time in the future.
