Yeah, you Russians only have to pay much less than we do in Euroland. Regrettably, it is not possible for us to use the forex power of our Euromoniez to directly buy things cheap on Russian Steam and other Russian online stores

It's only one thing that worries me. I know it's a great achievment, that EU IV is now third on Steam, but I'm worrying about that few days after release. I'm worrying that a bunch of people that don't know too much about Paradox games bought EU IV and will hate it, and that will eructate (or bounce?) on Metacritic score and global opinion. I know it's a black scenario, but still a possible one.

I don't think it will be that bad. Paradox games are though to play, I've been trying to get my mate to play Viki 2 and he says it's one of the hardest games he's played (just for the info).

I remember my first ever time playing EU2, I picked it up as I liked the look of it, I'd never heard of it before. My first game was a disaster, I didn't know what the hell was going on nor did I know what to do, I gave up in like 10 minutes and didn't go back to it. Then it lingered on me. Temped, I went back and got into it and loved it. I think a lot of the newbies will find it though, frustating and down right impossible to play but they'll get there and enjoy it.

More worrying for the mods is that a greater numbers of players means more forum trolls - they will be very busy for a few weeks. Of course, more money for the devs most likely means more and better content, and hopefully updates for some of the other Paradox franchise games.
