Thanks for the manual, I wish I had time to go over it in detail now but I'll manage somehow!

I wonder what Thursday will get. How can they top a demo?! Leak a full copy onto the internet?!

Or maybe a demo patch :rofl:

Hopefully preloading for digital downloads. I hadn't even thought about it until I realised that they did it for the recent release of East India Company and it should be possible for HOI3 as well, I would think.

Oh, preloading. I haven't thought of a plan if I get to preload and play exactly at 1 AM.

I need to rethink my whole Friday and Thursday night schedule now... I was anticipating an hour to download.

Thank you for your tremendous efforts - I saw your posts on Saturday as Johan, so I know you went into work when you should probably have been taking a break.

And thanks to the whole team, too - such dedication to customers is impressive. Now we have a manual to read and a demo to look forward to. I really didn't expect a demo - I was sure that was going to be released sometime after the 7th.

That'll be tricky, it's most likely hardcoded to end early. And even if someone managed to crack it Paradox wouldn't let them post the cracked exe or instructions on how to. By that time the game will be released anyway.

meh, i dont have time for HoI 3. im finishing up my last conquests for HoI 2. now, why is it that i was at the elbe in 1939 with 100 french divisions and i got pushed back all the way to the magiot line with the exception of colonge and saarland.

Awesome, I love the scope and features of the announced demo.

I will definitely be trying to pull both the successful invasion of Poland but also of France within this time frame. It was possible to Vichy in late 39' in HoI1 and HoI2. I will also be trying to take Berlin as France/UK during the campaign of Poland!!

One thing I really wonder; will the demo have the same plain text files as release, finally allowing us to see what is moddable and what is hardcoded?

Thanks very much for the advance copy of the manual. PI and the HOI3 team are the best.

Has the release of a demo of HOI3 been officially announced? I already have the real HOI3 ordered from Amazon, so I'm just curious. It just seems like as many, if not more, people are anxious to get their hands on a demo as there are to get ahold of the real game. Why mess with an incomplete version when you can have the whole enchilada. Just wondering.
