I have to say that the 3D city views in EUIII and Rome look sorta meh. The rest of both games looks shcweet, yet when I click on a province, that little city view is an eye sore. Maybe change it back to 2D like in EUI/II

Not better. Cheaper, faster, and easier to change for the developer. Which is why you don't see many commercial games with 2D graphics.shasla6 said:Shh. 3D is always better, even though it adds nothing.

These posters refer to the little 3D picture of your city which appears whenever you click an inhabited province, which depicts all the buildings there. Then, when clicking on a building, it zooms in and shows a rather nice (though generic) model of it.o
I do like the city view in EU3, but you won´t click it more than twice for each building, so it´s a feature that ensures the artist´s pay, not the game´s playability. I´d rather drop it for better AI or gameplay features.
