1) I've recently discovered the peactime_IC_mod of .20 in the '38 GC for Australia and Canada. I assume there is a reason for giving them an even harsher penalty than the US has? Wouldn't it make more sense to give Can and Ast the same peacetime_IC_mod and gearing up for war events France and the UK have?
In fact, there are a whole slew of nations for which that would make sense in the '36 GC.
2) Australia (in '38) has the '42 doctrine "infiltration assault" Given the way that the AI researches, that pulls every allied nation down that path, as they will all be given the blueprints to this (Japanese) tech, and be pulled away from the tech tree Commonwealth nations are supposed to go down, Operational Stages.
I've found from my AI tweaking that blueprints even override the "preference" command in the AI file, but not the "ignore" command.
3) Were the best Commonwealth land doctrine researchers in WWII really Andrew Mcnaughton (Can) and Jan Smutts (Saf)? They are skill 6 w/ 4 matches. This makes them near matches with Bradley, Eisenhower, and Mannerheim (skill 7, average 3 matches) and better than all three UK teams (2x skill 6 1x skill 7, 2 matches each) and DeGaulle (skill 7, 1 match).
Not to mention the unforgettable Kiwi Bernard Freyberg, whose skill in Battle is comprable to Mannerheim, MacArthur, Bradley, and Eisenhower! (skill 7, 3 matches)
Minor allied nations get free blueprints. They don't need super tech teams.
