Oh one more thing, I have in the past built a large Airforce, and was happy with the results. Essentially doing an integrated air campaign all over the front in which I aimed at reducing the german ORG. with that, I was able to survive with a modest IC build and modest increase of my ground forces. This was a well balanced ground force, not heavily INF or ARM or anything, aiming to have 36 ARM and 18 MOT by 44 with the rest going to building INF and my Air force (most in Airforce). This worked the best in my opinion. I could reduce my Oil consumption by grounding my Airfoce, I was building my armor and motorized forces gradually. I aimed with the special forces added to have approximately 380 Divisions by end of 45.
I was able to slow and then grind to a halt the german advance by mid summer and they resumed by in late fall but again ground it to a halt.
This was the most active one, I had to constantly shift forces all over the place, and I burned oil quickly but I also regained it quickly since when my airfoce was grounded it used no oil.
this was the most fun.
