Dates in Chinese are supposed to be something like 1941年7月31日 and not that abomination.
Wow, and here I was thinking that America is weird for that 7/31/1941 format.

From smallest to largest: day -> month -> year. Isn't this the most orderly? Like meters as opposed to feets?

no. year -> month -> day. how else are you supposed to order things by date? alphabetical sort covers sorting by date in this case.

YYYY-MM-DD is also the ISO standard, which should be used by everyone including small children and rodents. To add to what you wrote, the standard continues nicely with YYYY-MM-DD hh:mm:ss.sss, so year-month-day(of month) hour:minute:second.hundredths of seconds. From largest to smallest. Makes lots of sense. The backwards way of writing dates would make sense if we wrote time of day as ss:mm:hh...

To quote the updated 1.11.4 patch log:

it was fun while it lasted.

I knew it. I said it will happen. Press F for my boy.

With other words a lot of people will be back to abandoning tanks because they hate the costs, I guess. That or we will only see TD/SPART divisions to save IC.

I will be testing the conversion in a few minutes, but I already fear it won't be worth converting anything anymore. Not just to scam the production costs, but in general because of how you'd probably just be better off investing the IC elsewhere than waiting forever for outdated equipment to be converted.

Meh. I looked into the new version of the 1.11.4 patch and... I hate to say it but tanks are dead for me now as well. Entirely.

Wasting 20+ IC on a single Medium tank and even if it has Christie Suspension and +6 engine it crawls at 5.1 km/h thanks to the speed nerf.

Kinda don't even want to know how Heavy Tanks are. Probably can't get it above 4km/h which is the minimum required to save the design.

They are absolutely not worth bothering with anymore.

Guess I will also switch over to mobile Infantry + CAS now, saves IC for something that actually gets the job done.

Still worth it to drop a single heavy td batallion in there for the extra armor breakthrough and piercing though right?

How do you manage to reach such low speeds? Are you going too far with armour options?

Have you checked newest update to beta patch? Chassis reliability was cut to 90% (from 100%), speed was reduced across the board, and some chassis were made more expensive on top of that. Plus conversion speed was gutted (tech boosts removed, conversion techs made more expensive).
Basic light chassis (1934 one) with diesel is now around 4kph

I have, yes. I just posted some Basic and Improved Heavy Tank designs in another thread, as examples of high speed heavy tank options, but here we go over here as well. The Basic heavy is from a 1938 save, the Improved one from a 1940 save, all with today's open beta running.

Nice designs, though while faster, both of them are weaker in other stats, some significantly, than pre NSB HTs of comparable level while being 30% more expensive.

Yeah, they were meant as a speedy heavy demonstration with very early techs, rather than much else. The core elements are pretty much the basic hull and the first two armour techs, not much else. I didn't particularly min-max them, but considering you can pump out the first from approximately 1937, it is still very viable for an early war scenario: it is faster and heavier-armed and armoured than pretty much anything your opposition can put up until the early 1940s. At that point, you can consider different variants depending on your needs.
