Dear experts, first time i'm have to ask for your help.

Command "Guarantee independence" Gives it's effect for 5 years. I'm need for 30 years.

Question - can i change it somewhere in misc file? Can i adjust the desired date in event command?

Or the engine does not allow you to change G.I protection period?

I'm would never ask you, but, i'm read everything from A to Z and I did not find the information I needed.

Judging by the grave silence, I asked about the unthinkable and the game engine does not allow this. Although, I could have guessed that this function was added with a bet on 1936 scenario.

I don't know how to set the duration of guarantee Nikita (or if is possible).
I think you need to made a persistent event to check the trigger if guarantee = { country = [country tag] country = [country tag] } is satisfied. You can also add a flag to "count" the occurency of event, when your event is fired 6 times, you've reach the 30years occurrency. But i think you've yet think about this type of solution.

Not sure about DH. In AOD we have this file: \db\diplo_costs.txt

Found this in DH, but it wont be of much help.
# NOTE: Obviously, the order of these variables cannot be changed.

Hello Pako, glad to see you
Yes, that was my first variant in my head, and this is worst variant. True for true.
I have already come up with a more comfortable option. Country B will give military access to country A, country A will have decision that allows to protect country B if it's have military access and under attack. Hopefully, command "military access" is unlimited

Improvisation
We have military bases in this country.
This country is part of our sphere
We will protect them, because we have military bases there and it's our sphere
