I wouldn't be shocked if that happened this week. Pure speculation. But along side the Monday Dev Diary, or the Thursday Blorgcast would make the most sense for an announcement like that.

Yeah, I can definitely recommend Legend of the Galactic Heroes! I started it a month ago to pass time waiting for Stellaris. I'm at episode 80 or so out of 110. A bit slow to start but doesn't have "fillers" that most long running anime series tend to have. One of the better sci-fi animes I've seen.

come on man, its a anime show, you get passionated about the charchters, this has nothing to do with what my belives are. I realy love Legend of the Galactic Heroes.

Beliefs have impact on everything, on what we like also. As the monarchist watching LOGH I was supporting Empire and disliked Free Planet Alliance. In Reinhard and his empire I saw great apology of monarchical system of government. Empire defended itself - without propaganda like on democratic side but with actions. Commanders fidelity and dedication towards Reinhard was great example - only in monarchical system one can love their leader so much. King is like the father of the family. And what is president in the republic? Just ordinary official, feeble mock-up of the real head of state.
Democracy is also well shown - politicans don't care about their people and are even ready to declare unnecessary war just to win elections. Only place where democracy can look nice is in the dreams of Yang Wen Li but it just doesn't work in reality.
I never understand people who when watching films or reading books are supporting rightfull monarchs but in real life they approve boring republics. People should be more consistent. They have natural monarchical feelings hidden inside but just refuse to acknowledge them.

Monarchies are wretched remnants of the past and belong nowhere but the history books. No man has a right to rule by birth and origin. It's unjust, people should have the right to govern themselves. Even if not exactly through an indirect democracy, as I do have many objections towards it, but either way being born within a certain family does not qualify you to rule a nation. Your deeds, opinions, capabilities and qualifications do. ¡Viva la República!
