Well it's kinda hard to end on December 31 in the grand campaign when there is no December 31.
I calculated it out and we're loosing 1447 days in EU2, 1400 do to 30 day period and 47 do to leap-year. That's almost 4 years.
It's false marketing, saying EU1 has a timespan of 300 years!
(Not that it makes a difference, I realise that)

It's odd that they chose February to have 28 days, yet all the other months are 30 days long.
Yes, feck knows why. They should just have gone for 30. Now February always causes trouble
Actually, February does have 30 days. Sort of. I forget the details, but if you look at save games taken at different parts of February, you will see that internally the date is being adjusted to expand the 28 days to 30. I forget what I was testing to make me look into this. Ah, I remember, my autosave tool. I made a change to get the correct game date in the save file name. As soon as I get some hosting space, I will repost the download for the tool. Quite useful IMHO.
