First I would like do divide the EU II thread into many. Now there is just an EU II general.

Now som wishes:
1) More info about relations. Sometimes your relation with a country increase, other times in decrease over time. I would like that you could see why (e.g. different religion (-10/year), troops close to the border(-5/year) royal marriage (+5) etc.)

2) Send traders automatic could be a bit more advanced. I would like to be able to customize it, like 'send taders only to CoT on the same continent' etc

3) The peace deals when you are in an alliance must be better. As it is now you don't gain anything from a war if you are not the leader, except if you make your own peace. I know that IRL it happend that country honored an alliance but got nothing from it, but it makes the alliance part a bit limited.
You should loose in relation with the alliance leader if you do a separate peace. I think that's very logic.

Last a question to Paradox (or if somebody else know): will the text files look the same as it do now?

1) That might be nice, but I don't necessarily want to know too much of the inner mechanics as long as I trust the game to be logical.

2) Definately this would be good. Would be nice to be able to send merchants just if you lose your monopoly, or just to one CoT whenever you don't have 20/20 or whatever.

3) You actually share in any money reparations your alliance receives I think. Also you do lose relations with the alliance leader if you make a separate peace, don't you?

About separate peaces

IIRC, when a country makes a separate peace, the other countries in the alliance get a temporary CB against him.

The EU2 Forum will be "divided" just as EU1 was when the game is released.
There really isnt much point at the moment.

Well of course you don't. When you are lending your troops to another country's war effort, you don't get the benefit. The benefit lies in that country being there to help you out when it's your turn to go to war with someone. At least, that's the theory behind alliances. Naturally, since governments are nearly always utterly selfish, the practice may not live up to the theory :D
