Hey everyone, I know I should do three threads for this, but since they are really tiny whiny questions maybe it will work like this. And before you post: Yes I did try the search function.

Anyway: I'm super psyched for HOI4 but theres still three things I haven't fully understood, no matter how much I search:

1. Is the Poland DLC the "secret" DLC? I think I signed up back then but I don't remember, if I preorder will I get "the full game"?

2. Is the Quality Control team the same as for Stellaris? Because (i know im making enemies right now but nvm...) I find that the quality control for that game was incredibly bad! Besides day-1 problems like the spamming of "enemy fleet detected" (how did that not get caught in pre-release? like how does that happen? did noone test it? That's game-killing in less than an hour! And no, thats not a bug, thats a choice!) theres quite a few mid-late game things that are quite obviously not thought out (no waypoints/quickselect for spaceports) that just feel like theres not been enough people playing it/ they didn't play into late game before it got released. Are these the same guys?

3. Will there be an "upgrade" later? Like if I bought Cadet edition, could I buy the Tankpacks and so on later and if so, what will it cost? Like I think the "Colonel" would be right for me as I would like those models, but I'd prefere to buy the Cadet version since I was burnt quite badly with Stellaris and, If it lives up to par, upgrade to have those models... Is that possible?

Thanks in Advance!

1- No, you had to chose a major for the secret DLC and Poland is not. The base game is the full game, minus a few cosmetic DLCs more expensive editions have.

2- ?

3- In past games, pre-launch DLCs were eventually made available.

The EU4 Call-to-arms pack is available. Before that, CK2 Dynasty shields and Mongol faces (pre-order bonuses) were also made available. All of them has been on sale quite a few times since.

EDIT: the policy of Paradox for expansions is interesting. You have to pay if you want the new features, but some enhancements to the game are also free to everyone with the base game.

On the note of question 2. Paradox have two kinds of QC teams: integrated and general (not sure their titles). Integrated is where they work purely for the specific game and the other team work on many games at Paradox (or just PDS). So the primary point of your question is yes and no. HOI4 is tested by some QC as with Stellaris, but also by the HOI4 devs and some others, so we'll see what happens.

Please remember though, that this game was set to be released over a year ago, and was delayed since features werent in and they wanted to fix bugs. Stellaris was announced far far later and was more innovative with its core concept, a greater step away from existing PDS games, so bugs are more likely to appear.
