After looking down through various events I noticed these tags keep appearing. Could someone please tell me what they mean? Also, are there any other tags out there.

I did search through Havard's 'Bible' but could find reference to these in there.

Cheers

When used to select provinces:
-1 Random owned province within a set depending on command. (E.g. religiousrevolt chooses only from the set of owned provinces of non-state religion, while revolt chooses from the set of owned core provinces. mine chooses from the set of owned gold provinces &etc)
-2 Capital province
-3 Same province as the last province affected by a command
-4 Province with 700+ pop. on American Continent.

As far as I remember.

Re: Re: -3 and -4 tags

You didn't find this then? ;)
From your bible, -4 would seem to target colonies, yet from my (admittedly limited) experience, it only targets colonial possessions of 700+ pop on the American Continent, and not other continents. E.g. the English colonial defense event has, the few times I have tested it, only chosen american colonies and never Indian or Indonesian ones.

If you want to improve the bible, expanding on the -1 might be an idea. Some people seem to believe that -1 is just any random province you own, but that is not the case.

Usual counterexamples include revolts, limited to core provinces (allowing you to target random events at core provinces only, if you select your target with a revolt) and gaining a conscription centre (any province, not limited by core considerations.

Hmm. I made a list somewhere. Now complete, though. Right, here:

Code:
[font=courier new][color=white]
command = Subset used by -1 consists of all
---------------------------------------------------------
conversion non-state religion provinces
fortress provinces
gainbuilding provinces
manufactory provinces
mine gold provinces
population provinces
provinceculture *don't remember*
provincemanpower provinces
provincereligion *don't remember*
provincetax provinces
religiousrevolt non-state religion provinces
revolt core provinces (useful for targeted random events)
