The article elaborates on what could be the most important part of Tarr Chronicles: customizing the craft according to the mission profile, and the second part focus on the Workshop.

THE WORKSHOP​

Just off the main hanger is the technicians workshop. Here the mechanics work on ship components getting them ready for combat. Your chief mechanic has made it known that some of the system components can be disassembled to make devices capable of enhancing the capabilities of your ship.

Any of the system components can be recycled to build a custom device. Each component is made up of a variety of resources that are recovered and applied towards the creation of the new item. As this is frowned upon only a maximum of three items can be disassembled per mission and once undone, they cannot be restored.

Custom made devices consist of the following attributes:

TYPE: One of the combat factors above + Armor Auto-repair
CLASS: Efficiency rating 1 – 5 level.
MODIFICATION 1: Primary combat factor to be increased
MODIFICATION 2: Secondary combat factor to be increased

Modifications are the only place where armor can be given an auto-repair facility, similar to shield regeneration.

Depending on the complexity of the new device a certain amount of resources are needed. Resources include:

Tech Alloys
Condensers
Regenerators
Nano Modules
Electronics
