i bought this game off a friend =/ any way i can get around it without registering it since i have httt

This appears to be the latest version of DirectX, but I'm not entirely sure.

Think you need to register the vanilla EU3 for tech support access. But seeing as you have HT3 that shouldn't be a problem.

And the logs show nothing. I'll check through the other files modified tomorrow.

If you use notepad++ there's a very nice "compare" feature that I usually use on all files that's been modified since the last beta. Did so this time as well and was able to launch my own mod without any problems.
The new, ottoman, tech group did take some work to adapt for, even if it's unused in the mod I was adapting it for.

What's with the decision "ai_will_do_title"? When I got to 4 magistrates, it showed up in all my provinces, but the tooltip shows nothing at all, about anything.

If that shows up it means a decision somewhere is bugged (either by using faulty commands or because it's lacking brackets).
It's a common side effect for typos in decisions (a decision somewhere has been "cut short" by the game and it's parts are showing as independent decisions instead that doesn't do anything).

Yep, all the patches are just small mods on the previous patch.

Like to congratulate Paradox for a great patch.

Something I really appreciate is that when an army is selected the province supply limit is selected. That is so very handy!
