25% off on GMG

I also ordered with the 20% voucher. But when I ordered the game was £29.99, now it's £34.99, so I still got away cheaper.

Nah, Paradox probably has a set cost and anything extra goes to the retailer. Valve charges an arm and a leg for getting games on the Steam Store, which is where much of the extra cost would come from.

Just went to see about getting a refund and using the 25% off voucher as I only used the 20% one but the base game has gone from £29.99 to £34.99 so its not worth the refund as I still saved over £2 on the new price.

I have dealt with GMG a lot. If it's on the their store page as included, then you get it.

I have ordered / pre-ordered stuff with GMG before, they are legit. You usually get your key a couple days before release depending on what the publisher's policy for keys is.

I paid with paypal, the payment is being handled. I think it does that with payments higher than a certain amount
Of course you need to remember that even if the site gives you keys, which are working, the site might not be legit. For example Kinguin/G2A(not them, but the persons who are selling there) sell grey-market keys, but you'll receive working keys. In these cases there's always a loser(usually the dev or a random person on the Internet who just lost his earnings). GMG is legit, but sometimes they cannot make an agreement with the dev, so they'll buy from redistributers, which may have aquired the keys with not so legit ways

I'd rather pay a little more and have it go straight to Paradox. They deserve it for even attempting a game like this.

If I just wouldn't be an university student...but PDX probably takes as much money as from any other retailer. But of course there's the PDX store.
In principle I agree with you; the more we can support PDX and other reputable developers the better, however as I am currently mid home move and have 2 kids the further I can make my income go the better for me. (And yes push come to shove I can always sell the kids
)That is why I bought the Nova edition via GMG; I know from previous GMG purchases that I will get the pre-order stuff if they advertise it, and I dont need to have the forum fluff desperately enough for me to pay more to get it from steam.
