Can I rewatch it somewhere very soon? I missed it... Had to go to dinner...
As it was already told like a thousand times you can watch old episodes on that channel.
Nice stream, policies are a nice gameplay part, on the other hand I´ve seen a few things that made me go "Oh ,no...."
I can not believe that you make the same mistakes that some of the previous city builders made. Hell, on some regards you even take a huge step backwards. Personally, I think I will come back in like a year and have a look what you and some dedicated modders will come up with. Right now, this seems to me like a half ass, low budget (I know the company and the team is small) version of SC with some aspects improved, others not. Still not the city builder I was looking for.
No hating here, I love you guys for even trying and if you find your community I wish you all the best, because that will get me maybe to my favourite game... someday... :(

Can the Desert landscape have palm tree ,intead of regular northern european vegetation trees?

This bothered me a lot too.

My only major complaint I think. I'm otherwise liking what I see on the stream.

I have to question the $5 a month per building for the fire detectors. Cost in real life to buy about £6 each (uk). Say an average of 4-5 per house and a tidy profit is been made with this policy. (still I suppose we can mod that.)

Thanks, I figured out the same moment...
You had dinner at 6pm?
Yes, little one goes to bed afterwards. And I am used to it now. I am pretty hungry that time.

I like the landscapes and the vegetation! Looks nice! Spruce in the desert is bit weired, though...
And bus lines are cool. Nice stream.

@Gaute65: Thank you, too

I've only recently found about City Skylines and just watched the live stream. I actually really enjoyed it! For an alpha, the graphics are looking pretty good in my opinion. I like the districts feature, it's something that I've always wanted expanded and developed since the old days when I used to play SimCity 2000 and plop those huge grey signs that blocked the view. Another thing that got me psyched when I found out was the actual flow of rivers. I always hated that practically all city-building games had this "sea-level water" constraint, which was really annoying. Seeing actual waterfalls and water flowing downhill is amazing.

What I'm most looking forward to is the range of modding tools and especially the future development of other tilesets such as European and Wall-to-wall buildings. But that's for the future, of course. Great job so far guys :)

Wow! Well this game just shot to the top of my wanted list. I have to say it really looks fantastic. The little touches like ambulance lights shining off the buildings is nice too. Policies & Districts will add tons of replay (and are easily distinguishable at this early stage). I'm glad you're looking in to the agriculture issue so I won't beat that dead horse - I will say that smaller sized structures (one story), rather thany sponge bob buildings, would create more continuity in agriculture districts.

Question: What are the specs on the computer used for the demo? I loved how quick you can zoom as well as pan around the city.

Any chance the two developers in the stream could provide sound bites as advisors? Their dry banter is hilarious. The one chap constantly reminding the other to check the pipes reminds me of my inner ADD self.

I really enjoy how the policies and regions look! Very new and fresh idea, could make for some really fun and creative play styles. However, I still think roads, highways, and traffic need some serious work. Roadway intersections run right now like a total free for all! Why are there no proper stop controlled and signalization controlled conditions? The visuals of intersections is unpleasing as well. They need proper pavement markings, addition of added channelization (slip lanes) and auxiliary turning lanes. Plus, ramps for the highways are laughable. Need proper merging and deceleration lanes, plus width transitions. I hope most this is just an alpha thing!

Ya i hope they fix it , because i don't think it is very time consuming to change the way a tree looks .Right now the only thing that's different in two vegetation type is the color of the ground. Trees atleast should vary with the vegetation and terrain types.
