So to get their program installed, they offered 20% off a brand new game..... I thought I smelled a rat
In this case, the client is strictly to download the program. Once it finishes, install, and you can shut it down, and even uninstall it (the game installer is in your users\appdata\local\greenmangaming folder, so can copy it to wherever you wish, don't need the client to install, it is a zip file that contains the game files & setup.exe
This was my first time using it (up to this only bought a few Steam games through them where I could just enter the key into steam). In this case, the discount plus credit I had with them made the game ~$10.
*Just checked, looks like the client is ~20 megs, and was a 7mb download IIRC. Still don't intend to ever buy a game that requires it to run, but for a downloader, I've had much more invasive *Cough* Origin *Cough*.

Btw: Please stop the pro/contra flaming regarding Steam.
I too don't like it, but for the games requiring it I never had any problems with Steam, also.
The platform itself is highly professional and very often there're real bargains...
Yes it does! I have the Hearts of Iron III Collection that I bought from Gamersgate and it worked with the version from Greenmangaming.
Well what I'm saying is. I due love Steam. Almost all of my games are on Steam....But I have heard some very bad things about them. Like people losing there accounts with 1000$ of games in there libraries. Over very stupid thing. Or just plan mistakes. What I'm saying is. Steam great, but i'm scared of them. Why? I have about 500$ - 800$ on my library. I'm scared that one day some thing wrong is going to happen then...Poof all gone.

Well theres no flam war going on. I due love Steam. Almost all of my games are on Steam. I have Just said I have read some bad thing about them.

I've bought TFH off Greenmangaming, and i can't seem to find the serial number for the game on their site, nor on Capsule.
It's not a pressing issue, but i would really like to have the game registered; anybody else has this problem ? :glare:

I would buy it but have seen comments that AI is still broken in the Their Finest Hour and no plans to change it , so no point to buy the game unfortunelly as its too close to what we have , with just cosmetic changes. Will see , maybe in 10 years something will change
