Hey Commanders,

the tournament this weekend was alot of fun for me and I want to continue the series of weekend tournaments at the 29. April. Hope you are in for it. This time I organize it a little bit more proffesional with http://challonge.com/de/tournaments/signup/2tyhUlUlvD. You can directly register your self on the webside or leave a comment below so I will add you. This time the Final will be Bo3. Suggestions and constructive criticism would also help me to organize this.

where do you live? Are there enough people in the eastern Timezones to kick off a tournament? because I live in Hong Kong. So I would like to make an Aussie and Asian tournament for sure. But 12 Am is still better then 4 am for americans to join in. Thats why I took this time.
And I hope there will be more content released when the tournament starts. I believe the guys from Eugen are fast

sry man I dont know all, I just know that after the Quarterfinals there were just scots left. you have to see it in the replays or here:

Thonar is casting the tournament games.
But he just got 2 done yet.

Scots, no surprise there. It was just a suggestion. It would be useful information just for that replay finding reason. But no worries.

@Protosszocker since its a best of three I'd love to see some set factions. Like alternating Axis vs Allies (game 1), Allies vs Axis, Free choice aka civil war (game 3).

Something to adress the scottish civil war problem and improve tournaments in general: Make the (semi-) final best of three. Must be axis versus allies, first pic is decided by coin toss. Changing of sides in game two. In game three, if necessary, the player who won the most points of the first two games combined can pick side. That's how it was usually done in CoH2-tournaments and it's a good mechanic that improve tournaments. Good players can and must show their skills and that they're not just a one trick pony. Also makes fighting for a points if you are already loosing worthwhile in the first two games to get faction pick in game three.

Yeah sounds Interesting. For me as an SC2 player changing your "race" from one game to another is nearly impossible, but yeah in a game like SD it makes sense. But I hope they will balance this game well enough so that there are more than one division playable ^^ so that you can be the best on your division. Because that's where the skill and the gameplay will be the best. And For myself, civil wars aren't that much of a problem. But thanks for the tip i will consider it. Also maybe you can make the rule like in some hearthstone tournaments that you are not allowed to play the same division twice. For later tournaments to come you can make the all kill format. like both choose 3 divisions and if you loose your division is out, if you win you have to play the same division again.

Just ban the 15th Inf from the tourney. For instance, we ban it when we play against each other and the game instantly becomes much more interesting.

yeah that actually sounds like a really good idea. But i will still wait with rules like this. maybe there will be a balance patch in the comming 10 days.

Yep, I'm in. I think I will play with 12 SS.

IMPORTANT UPDATE:

Protosszocker won't be able to host the tournament. However I am gonna host it instead, so everything should be fine. Brackets have changed a bit since I removed him as a Participant and me as well (I don't like particiapting in tournaments that I host and I would be much of a challenge anyways). If there are any sign ups missing please let me know.
