Where can i find the option to make Ships upgrade? I have been editing thier scripts in the Units folder but no luck...

Also where do i find the file that reduces the time to wait for Diplo time. Instead of waiting one week u wait one day?....

In HOI2 ships are not upgradable. They come as they are and cannot be improved by researching new technology. Perhaps in the future, Paradox will allow "brigading" naval vessels with AA, radar, etc. to simulate refitting older ships with replacable equipment, just as they do now with carrier CAGs. As to the diplomat reset time, I don't know for sure but possibly in the db file under misc?

I have been doing extensive editing to the game from the Misc file. I have looked at every folder in there but didnt find any mention of this stuff. So i wondered to post here if it was somewhere else. But come on. Why not make ships upgradable?????? how about Refitting them for like a few months to a new model?

that doesnt make any snese how theyre no upgradable i mean its not like tanks where you could upgrade the actual tank i think the upgrad ship meant pulling old guns and engines out and putting betters ones on and in. pretty dumb if you ask me

That was possible in HOI but in HOI2 ships are treated as a one-time buy. They are only available as a stock model with no upgrades. As for the diplomat 7-day period, I checked and you are right, it's not in the misc file.
